The Power Of LOVE!

As babies we reach with trembling hands,
For love we crave, life’s first demands.
Nothing changes as years pass by,
We seek it still beneath the sky.

The few have learned this ancient truth,
They twist the longing born in youth.
They know the words, the subtle keys,
To bend the mind with whispered pleas.

Aggression sparked, subservience tamed,
Our hearts are played, our fears inflamed.
They tell us wars keep danger out,
And laws protect—erase all doubt.

But love, once threatened, drives us blind,
It overrides the clearest mind.
We fight, we bow, we break, obey,
If loss of love might come our way.

They say: “A tyrant plots your fall,
His weapons wait to kill us all.”
The media chants, the crowd believes,
The truth is lost, the lie deceives.

They say: “Your children are not safe,
The streets are ruled by thieves who rape.
Your home, your car, your joy, your kin,
Are prey to terrors closing in.”

So cameras rise on every street,
With watchful eyes where neighbors meet.
And chips are pressed into the young,
“For safety’s sake”—the song is sung.

The UK stands, a trial ground,
Where countless watchers still abound.
Fear the lever, love the chain,
We march as told, we don’t complain.

For when the heart believes it’s threatened,
Each soul will yield, its course is set in.
Big Brother smiles, the plan is clear,
Love is the trigger, loss the fear.

And though we sense, through silent streams,
The swirling crowds, the shared mind’s dreams,
Suggestion rules, yet can we see?
Or are we blind eternally?
